More Pull by Land Rover

Hi,

I have made a piece in my series to recreate Car ads, old and new.
This time I have used my 1:24 scale car and Land Rover Defender. I saw an ad on Pinterest that says, More Pull with the visual of a wrecking a paper behind it.

I thought this was an excellent tagline for this car, but the visual was pretty dull. But obviously pretty powerful.

I decided to create this with the same perspective but a more direct visual of what the tagline really means with this kind of car.

It turned out as a Big rock dragged along the ground, and even the clouds were pulled out of the way around the cliff.
What fit best for a chain was actually a Silver Chain, and it really turned out well in this case. A prop that I probably can use later myself… haha.

I did these pictures in two versions; One behind the scenes, how I saw this project, and a final ad image. Pretty funny and really cool results.

The camera I use here is my Canon R5 with a 24mm lens.
The lightning is with one ARRI light bounced to a wall to simulate a sunset. The execution is made in Photoshop for the final result.
