Martin Palm x Adobe
Finally, it's now official after about 6 months of waiting since the collab was confirmed.
As a creator/photographer/retoucher, I can't be happier.
My workflow and tools are always around when I create new content for companies or for my own. And I decided to publish and market my Overlay packs and even my brush set for other photographers.
All this ended up with an email, six months after release, from the team at Adobe which told me that they liked what I had done and was interesting to take part in this project. Which is huge.
I would like to say it's a dream come true to work with these guys.
Now, they can offer all their users, millions, in the Creative Cloud to take part in my brushes and some of my overlay pack to quickly increase the interest of their pictures and edits.
An overlay is for you who don't really is in it; you add information from real photographs as a layer in Photoshop or other software to add the missing details or extend an image with light effects or others.
This is good in many ways, but using overlays gives you more control over the image in post-production. Instead of adding it in the original frame, you can add it afterward and not lock yourself up; IT can actually destroy a shot the same way you can improve it.
I use overlays asap I have an environment or a situation that needs that extra punch of details. Which is super helpful.
I have made my most used overlays into Photoshop brushes to speed my workflow up a bit more.
My effects can be added directly by painting the details by hand swell, which Adobe liked a lot and is now published on their Creative Cloud.
